I’m so excited you’re here in my little corner of the creative world, where paper, ink, inspiration, fun and friendship come together.
I have had this platform for over and year and I told myself, that on July 1, 2026, I was going to try blogging for the first time and learn how to set up sections where I can showcase PDF’s, Classes that I am holding and eventually I want a place to sell my retired merchandise. To tell the truth, this has been a daunting thought of posting on my own site. This is my first time attempting this and I have been hesitant from a sense of fear from the unknown. One of the core values at Stampin’ Up! is “Act with Courage“. So here I am today writing this post for the second time, I will “just keep swimming” as Dory from Finding Nemo would say.
When I opened a Stampin’ Up! email today there was this quote:
Most of you know my famous line ” I am NEVER going to make cards”. I have been a dedicated scrapbooker for over 25 years. Well, now for the last 8 years I am a Stampin’ Up! Silver Elite Independent Demonstrator making Cards, leader to my team of Stampin’ Gems and thankful for my loyal and new customers!
It all started with a coffee themed Paper Pumpkin Kit! Here is one of the first cards I ever created. I was lucky enough to receive this back from my Aunt (doesn’t she have the most beautiful handwriting!). My Aunt sends cards for personal and business and was so thankful to be gifted some of my homemade cards and sent me this thank you card for all the cards that I gifted to her. For my other Aunt’s 80th birthday, I gave her a variety box of 80 greeting cards I designed. She still thanks me for this unique gift.

If you do not know, my Facebook Profile was hacked and I have no way to retrieve the last 7 years of my comments and posts. There is no easy way to contact Facebook and I spent so much time writing and following the hack fix tricks that Facebook Chat AI told me, to no avail. I will start another Design with Diane Business Page eventually. In the meantime please friend “Diane Alberts” formally “Diane Stephan Alberts”. I am thankful I was able to retrieve my Design with Diane Group and the Stampin’ Gems team page, as I had my daughter listed as an admin. Unfortunately I did not have anyone extra to admin my Business Page. It is still there ~~static. I can’t bear to delete it yet.
I am currently learning about YouTube and hope to be back with all my content, like Monday Mystery Card, Wednesday Weekly Free Online Class and Coffee and a Card that I had been doing on Fridays for 7 years.
